New Airport Management System for Finavia at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport

Symbios is pleased to announce that Finavia, operator of 25 airports in Finland, awarded Symbios the contract to implement the Airport Management System in order to enhance future traffic and capacity planning processes throughout the Finavia network.

In the first step the Airport Management System will be implemented at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, Finland's major air traffic hub, with significant focus on traffic to emerging market in Asia.
With the help of the modules "Flight Schedule Forecast" and "Capacity Planning", Finavia will be receiving an integrated tool, providing significant added value in both planning future air traffic development and identifying potential capacity constraints.

A stepwise rollout of the system to other Finavia-controlled airports is currently being evaluated by Finavia and Symbios.
