Symbios CEO joins German Federal Minister of Economics and Technology on trip to Brazil

German Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, Rainer Brüderle, invited Symbios CEO Christian Roth to join a German delegation for a one week trip to Brazil in late April 2010.

The purpose of the trip was to start-up the Brazilian-German cooperation with special focus on the preparation of the transportation and security sector for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2014 and Olympic Games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro ("WinWin 2014-2016").
Symbios was among representatives of German companies such as Deutsche Flugsicherung, Deutsche Bahn International, gmp Architects, ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems and Bayer Material Science to establish economic relationships with Brazilian Partners.

As part of the agenda, Symbios was leading a sub-delegation to Infraero, the state-owned operator of 67 Brazilian Airports, in order to discuss a possible usage of Symbios' "Airport Management-Systems" as a part of the mid- and long term capacity planning for the Brazilian airport system.

"Brazil is high potential market with respect to the future development of transportation and aviation in special. The upcoming "mega events" will further increase the pressure on the Brazilian airport system and require significant investments. Symbios hopes to get a chance proofing itself as a long term partner supporting worldwide airport operators in planning for and operating airports as good and cost-effective as possible" Symbios' CEO Roth was quoted.
